Yeah Nah What's Next?

8 September 2026 | 18:30–19:00

Yeah Nah Bills popped up in response to ten stink bills our current government has been pushing through and is a simple tool that took off throughout the community.

Through the community sharing the tool and no budget, there were over 160,000 site visits in six weeks, leading to over 17,000 people using the site to make 48,000 personalised submissions.

It enabled people to engage with a submissions process that is easy to be uninspired by. The submission system is inaccessible partly through design, partly through apathy - like many of our democratic systems.

It’s an example of how a simple tool can enable voices, action and change. We see it as a resource for the community to own and we want to work with others to design its future.

Come along to find out more, share ideas together, and be a part of what’s next for Yeah Nah.
