Queer Joy: The Gathering
This year there have been relentless attacks on the queer community; in particular, there have been constant attacks on our trans whānau.
Now is the time to come together to support and sustain each other and help to heal each other. In the coming months we will need to be strong and united. So let’s use this time to come together and look after each other.
Queer Joy: The Gathering is about healing, finding belonging, comfort and joy in community, this event is for all ages.
Come and be in community in a chill, safe space. We’ll have music, tarot, nail art, and crafts. There’s no healing in isolation, so come together and be held by your community. Bring along anything you’d like to share with your community. Contact Emily at emily@emilywrites.co.nz if you’d like to be involved in entertainment on the day!
Bring koha to support the kaupapa if you can, but nobody will be turned away.
This is a drop-in afternoon at Critical Signals, but it is registered for safety. You must register.
