AI & Authoritarianism Panel

Pōneke Anti-Fascist Coalition invites you to a panel event about the various ways that Generative AI can be, and is being, deployed to advance authoritarianism.

Panellists will talk about the authoritarian implications of Generative AI in relation to topics that are important to them, including data sovereignty, workers rights, education, environmental harm, and militarism and surveillance. This will be followed by an open discussion where anyone is free to ask questions, share their own observations about GenAI and authoritarianism, or put forward ideas for resisting this technology.
