Miles Thompson

Miles Thompson is a machine learning engineer and programmer who has been training neural networks and building models for a minute . He has spent the last five years with Te Hiku Media, training and deploying foundation language models for Māori/English - and other indigenous languages under the kaitiakitanga license. Nō reira, right now he’s starting up ChurPrimo which is trying to solve real-time agentic AI governance. He has been interested in mutual aid, local economic resilience and collaborative finance since before anyone cared - oh wait they still don’t care but let’s change that. His dream is to replace the entire banking / finance sector with a small (but friendly) shell script.
